E-liquid manufacturing
We produce e-liquids under your brand — shortfills, nic salts and bespoke flavour development. Manufactured in the UK, TPD compliant, with MHRA notification and testing handled as part of the job.
What we produce
We cover the standard UK market formats, and can develop something bespoke if you have a specific flavour profile in mind.
- Shortfills — typically 100ml and 50ml, nicotine-free, for customers to add shots
- Nic salts — 10ml, up to 20mg/ml, smoother at higher strengths
- Freebase nicotine e-liquid — 10ml, TPD compliant
- Nicotine shots — 10ml boosters
- Bespoke flavour development from a brief or a reference product
Flavour development
Flavour is where most brands actually differentiate, and it is the part we spend most time on. Bring us a brief, a competitor product you want to match, or just a description, and we will work through sample rounds until it is right. Expect two or three iterations — that is normal and it is built into the process.
TPD compliance and MHRA notification
Every nicotine-containing e-liquid sold in the UK must be notified to the MHRA before it goes on sale, and there is a mandatory six-month waiting period after notification. We manage the submission and the required emissions and toxicological testing. Plan this into your launch timeline — it is the longest single stage in the process.
- Maximum nicotine strength 20mg/ml for consumer sale
- Maximum 10ml container for nicotine-containing e-liquid
- Child-resistant and tamper-evident packaging required
- Health warning covering 30% of the pack
- Full ingredient listing and emissions data submitted
Common questions
How long does MHRA notification take?
The submission itself is quick, but there is a mandatory six-month waiting period between notification and legal sale in the UK. This is set by regulation and cannot be shortened, so a genuinely new nicotine product needs around seven to nine months of lead time overall.
Can you match an existing flavour?
Usually, yes. Send us the product you want to match and we will work towards it through sample rounds. We cannot reproduce a competitor formulation exactly, but we can typically get very close on flavour profile.
Do shortfills need MHRA notification?
Nicotine-free shortfills fall outside TPD notification requirements, which is why they are a faster route to market. They still need to meet general product safety and labelling requirements, which we handle.
What VG/PG ratios do you offer?
We produce across the usual range, from high-PG for MTL devices to high-VG for sub-ohm. If you are unsure which suits your target customer and hardware, we will advise.
